Ask the company to give you an overview of what your daily responsibilities will look like. This helps you validate the job you applied for matches your expectations. You can also ask: "What does the best, or, toughest day in this job look like?" What is the company like? Research the company before your interview, then showcase your interest through questioning about your research: "I saw the company goes through regular restructures, how will this impact job security?" "I read your company has a great culture, can you tell me about your personal experience of working here?", “Do you support flexible hours/ remote working?” Is the salary negotiable? Salary and benefits tend to be the biggest attractions to a job. Ensuring the pay covers daily expenses, including household bills, and commuting to your work is really important. There's no harm in asking to negotiate if it falls below your required threshold. Also check if there are bonuses, overtime pay or other incentives. What career development opportunities are there?
